Well his dad died May 2006. He still won 4 majors in the years after that. His scandal with Elin broke December 2009. He's won approximately ZERO majors in that time. Not only that he also had a 2+ year Tour winless drought of from Dec 2009 to March 2012. And if that wasn't enough, 2009 was also his last year of being ranked worlds #1 for all 52 weeks of the year.

Now I do believe he's injured now and has been injured, but in regards to those two events in his life it's no question which has affected him more.

He was still winning but the inconsistency in his play started when his pops died, and became worst after the wife issues and etc. He was already hurt when all of that popped off anyway.
