Probably an overpay (though not compared to our two most recent contracts!), but I think it's a fair enough deal: We're paying him to be a mid-rotation starter for two years at this price.

Be interesting to look back when we reach Spring Training & compare this deal to whatever Haren/Kazmir/Johnson/Arroyo end up with.
