If there's evidence let's talk about it Tim Scott. The Democratics suck at messaging in general but the Republicans are terrible with messaging to the black community. I'll go as far to say it's a bad look for them to even try because their base wouldn't like it.

All we see is far right politicians make racist remarks and dog whistling us to death. We can't look past that to hear a damn thing about what the Republicans can do policy wise. Fix that first and maybe we will listen. Until then you look funny in the light and I hate to say that to another brother.

We don't vote Democrat because we love them, we do because the alternative don't want to fix their own internal issues about race or bother to even come to our neighborhood to layout their agenda.

Tim was appointed to his South Carolina US Senate seat by Nikki Haley when she was Governor. If it wasn't for her, he would have been stuck in the US House because he would have never won Republican primary in a regular election. Them white people wouldn't have put up with that. He just happened to win elections after that because its very easy to vote for the incumbent. Very hard to beat a sitting Senator.
