get over what? you mad because i dont condone revisionist history? and why single me out like im the only one? people are crushing your childhood nostalgia all thru this thread. it aint just me.
and i never said aaliyah wasnt loved. she just wasnt loved on the level that yall are trying to place her. nowhere near. lol. is there no in-between with you people? i guess im not allowed to be objective about someone that you feel some type of way about? SMH. no wonder yall let these young buls and lil white kids take over the board. you niccas like to sit around and hold your tongue. i cant live that life.
of course aaliyah's death was one of the saddest. you dont even have to like her to feel that pain. i got choked up at the end of the movie WHILE I WAS SERVIN YALL UP IN THIS THREAD, and they didnt even show any scenes involving the crash. they didnt have to. it was THAT SAD. she was a 22 year old female singer with a good-girl image who died in a plane crash. i cant think of many celebrity deaths that were more tragic than that, if any at all.......so whats your point?
the left eye comparison is horrible. TLC was old school when left eye died. you act as if left eye died during TLC's run.
meanwhile, aaliyah was 22 years old and had a brand-new album, new videos and a new movie about to drop. yea, her album wasnt doing well when she died(and the movie flopped too), but the the ink wasnt dry on her larry holmes papers, so alot of people easily glossed over that. HORRIBLE COMPARISON. we gonna compare aaliyah's death to big bank hank next?
i wasnt wrong about chit nicca. you just dont know what youre talking about. missy was all over the radio that summer before aaliyah's album dropped. AND she was down with bad boy. who yall think told puff to take styles p off benjamins? NICCA SHE HAD JUST DID A JOINT WITH NEW EDITION!!!!! and aaliyah's album wasnt even selling like that until months later when they dropped the "one in a million" single, as opposed to ginuwine, who blew up huge fresh out the gate with PONY, which was bigger than all that aaliyah stuff.
