Mr illogic
Why do you make an argument for the QB position, instead of childish name calling?
All the QB has to do is not turnover the ball...If the rest of the team is elite, the team has better chance...Compared to an average team with an elite QB...
The QB position is so DEPENDENT on so many other positions, it boggles my mind that Americans believe that position is so crucial...
Once the QB gets the ball from the centre, he has to DEPEND on the OL to give him time to find a receiver...Once the QB throws the ball, he has to depend on a receiver to catch it...
There is SELDOM a time in the NFL when a QB actually "puts the team on his shoulders"..The best a QB has to do is play an average game with NO turnovers...
It is up to the rest of the players to win the game...
Therefore, the praise that QB's are given compared to how much the game really depends on them is disproportionately in favor of the QB, and that's the definition of OVERRATED...
Case in point, Peyton Manning is considered significantly better than Eli Manning, and yet they both have 2 rings...Even more interesting is that Peyton didn't even win one of those rings in his prime... .
