I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I turned 36 on 5-11. Ever since I was 20, I always go into a depressed stupor for a few days after my birthday and reflect on things. Things that have I've done right, wrong, or could've done better in my life. How much time do I have to fix things before it's too late? Am I a failure in the game of life? All of those questions and scenarios come through my mind after my b-day. I'm overwhelmed that I'm almost 40. Idk how I feel about that to be honest.

One of my nephew's turned 18 last year :flabbynsick:

He taller than me now :flabbynsick:

I remember like it was last year, how I'd always make him cry because he could never beat me in 2k :myman:

Him using the overpowered warriors and I be using the trash magic just to reach him a lesson. And still winning by double digits :myman:

But now times have changed :flabbynsick:

he still hasn't beaten me in 2k tho :myman:

Your neices and nephews is when you feel it. Especially if you became an aunt or uncle before your own children. Your kids are with you every day so you see them growing. Seeing a baby you helped a sibling with while you were a kid yourself and seeing them grown is when it hits you.

I'm always depressed at my bday too.

As a child you have a fixation on growing up, you can't wait to be an adult. No more school, homework, chores, taking "orders" from parents, having curfew, being bored, having own place etc. Time will never move fast enough for you.

Now that you have grown up, the moment you have been waiting for since childhood, it is now here, and many people aren't prepared for what that entails, life will literally pass you by if you lack any semblance of a plan.

As well as the saying goes "Time waits for no man", the question remains: What are you waiting for?

This is something I've looked into and I think we can shift. Walk with me:

When you're 10 a year is a tenth of your total time on Earth. Yet at 50 its 2%. Relative scale. You can test this by asking an adult and kid to sit still quietly for 60 seconds because the kid will jump up at 40 seconds whilst the adult clocks around 80 before moving.

Next if you're talking to someone interesting/focused on something you enjoy the relative sensation of time collapses. Anyone who has made beats knows that you can be sitting there tuning a kick or chopping a sample and not realize the sun has came up, dipped and came up again when you're in the zone. Flip it being bored with no distractions and the pace seems relentless as time drags.

Seeing where I'm going with this? You're the constant in both cases but the subjective effects are totally different due to response of stimuli and various other biomarkers that continue the state.

Being able to induce/mimic these frequencies on demand means you can become limitless in a sense and you're stepping out of coding time into decoding time. As I've said previously the human mindbody can do way more than we're taught and this is something so obvious that people never stop to consider it.

Implication are immense and plenty of moments in your life prove what I've just said as everyone feels this experience.

yeah thats why you post bail then sleep until release . That 1 day you gone swear was 2 1/2
