I love you, you know.
As you get older, each day/month/year becomes a smaller percentage of your life.
One of my nephew's turned 18 last year
He taller than me now
I remember like it was last year, how I'd always make him cry because he could never beat me in 2k
Him using the overpowered warriors and I be using the trash magic just to reach him a lesson. And still winning by double digits
But now times have changed
he still hasn't beaten me in 2k tho
I turned 36 on 5-11. Ever since I was 20, I always go into a depressed stupor for a few days after my birthday and reflect on things. Things that have I've done right, wrong, or could've done better in my life. How much time do I have to fix things before it's too late? Am I a failure in the game of life? All of those questions and scenarios come through my mind after my b-day. I'm overwhelmed that I'm almost 40. Idk how I feel about that to be honest.
back when I had no kids. where did the last 20+ years go

When you were a kid, the 1960s was as far away to you as the 90s are now.I remember seeing "nothing but a g thang" premier on tv and it was the best time of my life in 3rd grade
'93 is like ancient history, might as well be the '60s![]()

This is something I've looked into and I think we can shift. Walk with me:
When you're 10 a year is a tenth of your total time on Earth. Yet at 50 its 2%. Relative scale. You can test this by asking an adult and kid to sit still quietly for 60 seconds because the kid will jump up at 40 seconds whilst the adult clocks around 80 before moving.
Next if you're talking to someone interesting/focused on something you enjoy the relative sensation of time collapses. Anyone who has made beats knows that you can be sitting there tuning a kick or chopping a sample and not realize the sun has came up, dipped and came up again when you're in the zone. Flip it being bored with no distractions and the pace seems relentless as time drags.
Seeing where I'm going with this? You're the constant in both cases but the subjective effects are totally different due to response of stimuli and various other biomarkers that continue the state.
Being able to induce/mimic these frequencies on demand means you can become limitless in a sense and you're stepping out of coding time into decoding time. As I've said previously the human mindbody can do way more than we're taught and this is something so obvious that people never stop to consider it.
Implication are immense and plenty of moments in your life prove what I've just said as everyone feels this experience.
