I'm gonna be the pessimist of the group brehs, I we go 9-4. 8-4 and then win a mid-tier bowl game.It's just hard without a QB (or a true freshman QB if Nkosi gets it), no matter how good our D is projected to be. On that note, Manny Diaz at all his previous stops has had a really good first season but then his defense has dropped off in the future years. Hopefully, pairing him with coach Kool will negate that problem and our D will be really good again, but just a point to consider before we crown ourselves.
I think 2018-19 is the first year we are TRULY back and will be in playoff contention....Nkosi will be in his second year, our freshman studs on offense and defense last year will now be in their 3rd seasons, plus the 2018 class will provide some much needed quality depth/starter minutes.
I'm just happy that I feel like I'm watching MIAMI football again, I'm excited even if we're not at the talent levels just yet. But its coming

Season tickets are being printed and will begin to ship the week of August 15th.
I was able to get back into the section that I had for 10+ years before I lost my regular seats last season.
Didn't renew on time, so a nikka had to purchase new seats, which stuck me in section 430 near one of the jumbo screens.
Brehs, I'm out of purgatory and will be returning to section 132, east end zone. I was able to get closer to the field; row 8
so I will be close enough to see my Canes let college football know we back!!

I've been in every damn Canes thread since this site existed. ask the Nole fans how many times I've dropped ether on themLet me ask you this: In 2014, did you think that we would go 6-7 if I told you we had Duke at RB, Dorsett/Coley at WR, Walford at TE, Flowers/Feliciano and a solid group of OL? Plus our D had Bush, Jenkins, Elder, Howard, Perryman, etc. all on NFL teams...I know I know Golden and No D but still the point stands
its not that easy to win without good QB play. I think Nkosi gonna be the truth but to expect the kid who just came in during summer to automatically run shyt is setting him up for failure and yourself for a letdown.

In regards to 2014, that defense was nothing compared to the 2017 defense, that is fact! Also that squad was mentally soft. They mailed it in after the FSU loss.
