I'm switching over tomorrow actually. Verizon DSL fukked me hard this past year. I was on a 5M connection (3 Down ) because even though I'm close to a station my block is not on that grid or some shyt. And they STILL don't have FIOS over here.

I'm getting the 50M connection. They hooking me up with a DVR box for 3 months and a Galaxy Tab 3.

The service in my neighborhood has gotten way better. I saw them fixing shyt last summer and I couldn't wait to get back.

how is it legal to cap internet speeds though ??

what I mean is how can AT&T and Time Warner offer their current garbage speeds, but have the ability to offer better speeds at the same pricing ?? FCC needa come in and fukk these companies up.. especially in California. I mean these are big gaps in speeds.. I understand the pricing differences.. but 50 mb down to 300 mb down .. for the same pricing ?? Thats a big ass gap, so this whole time they just been holding back 250 mb of extra download speed.. and then these companies wonder why people hate them so much.

How California, the most populated state in America, home of Silicon Valley, LA and Bay Area but got the worst internet speeds in America on a whole ?

North California has Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox Cable and AT&T U-Verse and in the Bay Area (9 million population, home of Silicon Valley the technology leader of the world) the only 2 options for "high speed" internet are Comcast and AT&T U-Verse

be from the technology leader in the world brehs and have your internet capped at 1.5 mb upload speed (AT&T U-Verse) brehs no matter how much you pay

Yeah it came as a suprise for me I upgraded my internet and didn't know I was going I receive it...

Maybe by the time I get back to the states I'm going to Korea in October then I'll be living in Tacoma washington so hopefully they have it...all I know is what ever city google goes to them cable companies need to cut prices.
