I assume this means the soul on ice remix because the original is okay but nothing special while Diamond D's magic touch propels the song to classic status.

with that said, both are classics but I have to give the nod to Ras here. It's still sad that he didn't immediately realize that he needed that east coast boom bap to compliment his lyrics. what could have been...

I remember when that video premiered on Rap City instantly fell in love with it. I copied the album off the strength of that one song

I heard soul on ice first on some mixtape and my mind was blown. I was like “this dude is the future”. Beat, lyrics and delivery was 100. But it was a remix. The original sucked. Times up is undeniable on every level without it being a reworked song. So OC for the win!

I find my self quoting both periodically even though I go months to years without running either. For me it’s Soul on Ice though. Really no wrong answer here.
