Oh look, another thread where people show they don't have any idea what RT is or how it works.

A movie with a 57% on the site didn't mean its rated 57 on a 1-100 scale. It means 57% of critics gave it a positive review...including all reviews 3 stars and higher (I think).

Pretty significant difference in that context, especially in genre films or films that target a specific audience.
