i was the poster who questioned why he worked with her.. and i asked if it was bc she wrote the hook and HAD to be on that song.
eminem works with skylar grey bc he gets beats frm alex da kid and he automatically puts his little poser artist on the beats. hence that a$$hole song, and why holly was on mmlp2.
he couldnt have the song w/out her on it. too bad. another voice woulda did that beat wonders.

holly never endured any type of racism growing up in her all white wisconsin area. why the fukk is she on a song about racism?
makes no sense. and show t.i. did it to have white skin on the album to sell it to white people.

I haven't heard the song, so I didn't know about it being about that's & yeah she don't really know about it to be able to sing about it so, maybe he shoulda chose someone else.... But maybe she channeled from another expreince where she was treated wrong. Idk. And yeah I think he's got white folks to sell to white folks.

whats your point? there are other singers who arent white that he couldve worked with for that song.

What difference would it have made? Would you have liked the song more if he would've thrown someone who wasn't white on the song? Skyler is there because she also wrote it. Even if she wasn't on it, T.I. originally planned for Lady Gaga to sing that part.
