Breh. Literally nobody who has played both of those games extensively will come out and say the UC2 experience on the OG Xbawks was better. You know you aint play UT mane. You sayin that bullshyt wit like 8 player MP was better? AIIIIIIIITE WHATEVER YOU SAY BREH

I've played both, and I'll stand by @Raiders saying I had more fun on the Xbox with UC2. It had a nice spot for people who enjoyed the 3rd person view of things. I even liked Quake 3 on Dreamcast when it had 3rd person. UT99 is dope but then again I'm not considering UC2/UT99 comparable. They're both completely different playing fields to be compared to each other. Not everyone was born on PC. :yeshrug: Even at that the games are played differently, UT99 is literally grounded compared to UC2.

I'll say the my only gripe with UC2 is melee for the fakkit casual crowd. Game could have been done without that. Also UC2 was just better optimized for console compared to a UT99 port. UT99 just wouldn't work to it's full benefit-another reason why they shouldn't be compared. UC1 just felt awkward on Xbox because of the limited controls, could you imagine trying to play UT99 like that?

GoW 1 was dope despite the lag and clunky gameplay. They kept it simple which a lot of games don't do anymore. It's funny because epic didn't even try with the GoW 1 multiplayer.

Why are we even trying to have a legit comparison between those 2 games? :mindblown:, they don't fit in the same category with each other.

Don't know if this been posted but

A representative of Respawn Entertainment who goes by the name “DK05″ on NeoGAF wrote the following in response to player count concerns in Titanfall:

“Lots of armchair game designing going on in here. I’d suggest playing before judging a something as insignificant as a number in a vacuum.

Vince is right – we tried a huge amount of playercounts (all the way down to 1v1 and up quite high) and designed the maps, gameplay mechanics, and entire experience around which played best. If anyone wants to chase the numbers game, perhaps we’re not the experience they’re after? I dunno.

And FYI, for amount of stuff happening at once in a map you’ll be hard pressed to find a game that keeps the action higher. I literally have to stop playing every few rounds because my heart just can’t take it some times. Remember, you can get out of your Titan and let it roam on AI mode – meaning there can be 12 Pilots wallrunning around, 12 Titans stomping below, and dozens of AI doing their thing.

Oh, and I keep seeing people thinking we’ve got “bots” when we talk about AI. Thats not how they are. The AI in Titanfall are not replacements for human players. Our playercount is not 6v6 because of AI – AI play their own role in the game and are a different class of character in the game.

Can’t wait! Only a couple months until speculative threads like this are gone and people are actually talking about their experiences with the game. Its truly fun stuff, and I hope everyone at least gives it a try.”

fat nerd mafukka better hit the gym then!

so we gonna have random AI shooting us :beli: sounds like real competitive FPS :beli:

my entire interest in this game is lost now unless the action gameplay is good enough to be competitive and can turn off the mechs / ai for 4vs4

Yeah...

:patrice:

This game can turn out really intense and fun, or just an idea that looked good from a far, but was executed like shyt. We'll see soon enough though.

They didn't do it for balance. They did it for workload. If they wanted to put more effort into it, the game could of been on a bigger scale.

So now you're gonna tell me what the developers said was a lie? you were there through the years when they made this game? You cant just throw a million nikkas on a map with a bunch of abilities, mechs and guns and ship the game. shyt don't work like that. It's why a lot of shooters came and went.
