Titanfall will have dedicated servers

Following a demonstration of Titanfall at E3, EA's Craig Owens confirmed that the game will have dedicated servers on all platforms – PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

"We're using Microsoft's cloud compute initiative to run all our servers for it, so it's all running on dedicated servers," Owens said. "We'll spin up and spin down servers as necessary, and it'll do all the AI hosting and physics calculations and all matchmaking and all of that good stuff. It's all dedicated servers, all the time." Owens also confirmed the PC version would feature dedicated servers.

This shyt looks amazing. I play this Free to play FPS on Steam sometimes called Blacklight Retribution and Titanfall has many similarities to it as far as character design, and the mech aspect. Obviously Titanfall looks much better, but i couldnt help but notice the similarities. Even how the mech is called in from the dropship is similar.

Dawg stop it. This is the 1 game that is fresh as fukk that was shown at E3.

I was wondering how much on foot combat would be involved when I heard about the Pilot gameplay, but you can wreck the Titan's on foot.

Gameplay looks nuts and fun. And it being "fun" is the most important thing.

COD's arcade style is tacky because of the setting it's in. A war shooter that encourages corny shyt.

This gameplay fits their style and it's far from typical.
