There’s one thing undrafted rookie Jonathan Willard won’t have to prove to the Titans at training camp this week — his character.
Willard put himself directly in harm’s way on Tuesday, coming to the aid of a complete stranger whose car had caught fire on Interstate 40 between Knoxville and Nashville, Tenn.
“I saw this car in front of me, and it had all kinds of black smoke coming out of it,” Willard, a former Clemson standout, told TigerNet.com, a Clemson-centric website, Tuesday. “I tried to speed up and get up next to the car to let them know the car was on fire.”
