The most deviant vile people are often the most rewarded by the reat of humanity. The difference in entertainment vs finance is how early the cesspool shows itself in entertainment compared to finance and how little the public truly cares about morality in one vs the other. Even you said high finance. Compare that to how a background character in a national TV show on their 3 role ever can get exposed to the darkness of that industry.
