wait, wait

They are taping "PPVs" in January to air in April and May?????????

Are they serious????????

:laff:

Yeah it's weird. 2 of them are already being taped this weekend. It seems like it will just have past TNA stars/reunions and won't have any storylines associated with any of the matches (how could it anyway? :mindblown:). Just pure wrestling.

Well, with the longer builds in between actual PPVs, they could fit some segments for these specials on Impact.

I agree though - that's a LONG time between taping an airing. I guess that goes to tell you how bad the actual PPVs were doing.

Hoping that they're rushing these tapings in because the schedule was just agreed to and that they'll be closer to the air date in the future. I have no problem avoiding spoilers and dropping 15 on a cool sounding themed PPV in the future...but 3-4 months of trying to avoid spoilers? :mindblown:

People hoping for a less WWE PPVS are living in a fantasy

the reason they have so many is because they make money, why would the WWE make less PPVs and leave money on the table?

Actually, when they were expecting that network to launch (:heh: ) there was talk of WWE cutting down on the number of PPVs and/or doing some of the non-major ones on the network. Obviously the network stalling out has changed things but it not out of the realm of possibilities.
