Sounds to be like PAC has a ego and just wants to win every match now

Sounds like there's an issue with Dragon Gate. That match has been announced since the first press conference, shyts weird there's a problem one week before the event.

Unless it's some sort of ploy to work the marks and make Pac the biggest heel in the company...

Six of one, half dozen of the other, plus booking plan issues apparently.

According to Meltz (I know, I know...), PAC was always supposed to win, but then they realized that he'd basically have to face Omega at the next show if wins and losses were to be taken seriously. Because he doesn't want to drop falls while holding the Dream Gate title, AEW couldn't switch the result and have Page win, and the show's timed out too tightly to do a reasonable draw. Therefore, they just moved the match to an indy show, did a No Contest/DQ, and had PAC "walk out" on AEW.

The funny thing about all of this is that people are accusing Meltzer of putting this story out to defend/cover for Cody and company, but the story itself makes them look short sighted and dumb as hell for not considering whether the champion of a major Japanese company would drop a fall to Hangman fukking Page or not (especially since their top star was IWGP Champion for most of last year).

You also have to wonder if Dragon Gate kiboshed this. Obviously they'd be pissed about him losing to Page but think how they'd feel about PAC losing to Omega, a former NJPW champion. It would be LOLTNA of them to let their current champ lose to a former champ of a bigger organization.
