When congress and some reporters and some Free information activist......
investigated the program and found out they murked Fred Hampton and wanted to spy on and murk everyone from Elijah to mlk to X to student groups, political groups, Chinese groups, and so called black Militant (word to the Coli c00ns) groups...
They had like 5 or 6 points I think... mainly around hinding the political actions of the radical Black American population.
But Hoover n Dem also wanted to stop some so called Messiah whoever that would be from .. having the power, "to bring about “unity” and “coalition” among Black political groups.

Because there's been many black leaders of the years to mobilize millions of black people under a single umbrella (and one of them might decide to mobilize them to revolt and rebel).
You have a nation of 40 million people who's at the cornerstone of American society, who has a legitimate grievance against this country and it's history of oppression. The biggest fear is that those people rise up, get armed, and say fukk it.
That idea terrifies white folks. It's why whites were required by law to carry a gun in many states during slavery.
