North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
The thing with J Cole is, the album wasn't wack. He made good songs but they just don't stand out. they don't leave a lasting impression. They don't grab your ears and compel you to play it again. Maybe because he produces everything. He needs a different set of ears/production mind.

J Cole really stepped up his bars on Born Sinner. What i don't understand is that the main critique of his debut album was that his beats are average/good but not great..... then he makes another entire album of average/good but not great beats.

Blood on the Leaves is dope and all...but it's not enough to put Yeezus over Born Sinner.

The good/bad songs ratio on Born Sinner is way better than that of Yeezus. Yeezus has about 2 songs that I fukk with, and the rest are trash.

Born Sinner has about 5 songs that I fukk with heavy, and the other songs aren't bad songs per se, but just not as dope as the 5 songs I like.

And more importantly, I'll go back to Born Sinner regularly, and play it from start to finish. Can't do that with Yeezus...not with On Sight as the fukking intro :why:

Born sinner was a damn waste. Cole the only one rapping about real shyt but he wastes his rhymes on his amateur beats. He's wasting his prime away trying to produce. Hope he wakes up soon
