He had a guy just as athletic as him who could handle the assignment of guarding the other teams best offensive weapon. Freeing him up to focus on offense.
The best bron had was Wade who was on decline, and we saw how successful they were. Even though wade stayed hurt. Jordan never had to worry about pippen being hurt.
Some of you may be too young, but the bulls beat teams with defense. They would press teams, cause mad turnovers and get easy buckets.
And pippen was a better jumpshot than jordan. He perfectly complemented Jordan. Didn't mind being Robin to batman.
To compare the two, bron and jordan, bron would have to be teamed up with durant or kawhi. A guy younger and just as physically gifted as lebron if not moreso. Cause Pippen was bigger and stronger than jordan. Pippen was the teams PG! He had better handles and passing than jordan from day one. Shot the tre better from day one.
