To the longtimers: What was SOHH like Pre-coli?

I haven't been here very long, and I keep hearing the longtime coli members mention SOHH. What was it like? and how was it different from the Coli? I'm assuming it was the predecessor to the Coli or something.

it was a great forum with a lot of classic threads. most of our members posted on there for years so most of our jokes and lingo originated there. if you ignore the technical differences (sohh software was really outdated, couldnt even embed media) then it wasnt that much different than here, it was more tightly moderated.

Seriously, it was great, the mod fukked up shyt bad. There wasn't much Black Women Hate or Gay shyt.

I lurked for awhile and joined in '08 right after whoever was behind the StarryI'd account had cat fished half of the forum. Shortly afterwards the place was hit and became projectcovo. SOHH had a different feel than the coli and it was definitely outdated but the classic threads were the funniest things I've yet to come across on any messageboard.

I definitely agree

I was on there when I was like 15 or 16. shyt was awesome. Learned a lot of stuff from that forum


It was never the same after you know who came through and crushed the buildings. That's when they got tight with security, always had server issues, etc.,


But in it's peak, there was MUCH more fukkery going on. I like the Coli though. It's more focused on sports and the shyt it's supposed to be focused on. Plus there's still a lot of funny shyt to read.


The alias's on SOHH > TheColi


Edit: Also, there wasn't nearly as much tranny shyt going on either. Not sure about PAWGS tho
