I will share something that my mother shared with me when discussing dealing with women. She basically said to not argue with women I ain’t fukking.

Her point is that you argue with people you have a connection with or rapport or some sort of emotional ties because at least you can make up once the issue or conflict has subsided.

When she told me this, my whole perception about women changed. I was able to gain clarity and put certain things into perspective.

Obviously, there is some nuance involved that lead to her giving me said advice, but it still was some great advice that I strive to live by to this day(if possible).

Point of sharing the above is that it is pointless to argue with folks who aren’t a part of your personal life. I don’t come here to argue. I come here to be entertained as well as learn. When people argue, then the argument becomes the focus as opposed to what you and whoever is arguing about. So, what are you and the other person is learning at that point?

People here say a lot of shyt that I don’t agree with, but I don’t feel like arguing with them why I disagree or don’t like about what they said, think or feel.

I certainly don’t want to get into net banging and have nikkas talk about crossing state lines to catch fades. Too old for that shyt, plus I got things to lose that are too important for me.

Lastly, in regards to your comment regarding dudes who struggle with getting women being bitter and needing to man up...

No offense to you, but I would not take advice from dudes telling me to man up because they don’t understand and/or don’t care about my struggle. Point is..

Some people struggle with women and it affects them. People also need to vent. Better to vent then to hold it in until said person explode and really hurt someone innocent.

We are human beings who need a support system. Perhaps you may not be the person to offer support because you don’t have any comraderie with dude, so your level of compassion and not empathy for dude isn’t there to help him grow as a person.

If you want people to speak on topics important to the community, then there needs to be an avenue for people to express themselves without the bullshyt.

I agree in some instances but at the end of the day I'm still a black man and my sexuality doesn't give me a pass on that. I don't wear it on my sleeve so most don't assume. Again, I've seen some fem black gay dudes become ostracized at work while the hetero black male thrives because he is traditionally masculine and talks about sports and women. Straight white men admire and relate to that.

I comment on some social topics but I avoid some shyt where I feel I don't have all the answers like terrorism threads, I see posters instantly jumping to conclusions and forcing their agendas or deflecting depending on what country it happened in. I don't post in threads about police shootings because I feel numb to them and I feel like they're going to end the same as they always do, I can have a defeatist attitude toward some topics so I don't add my opinion because it's not actually helpful. Sometimes when I am impassioned I'm late to the thread and my thoughts have already been covered so I just dap the posts and exit.

Stuff like the gender wars or feminism I don't really care anymore. I don't hate feminism I don't like some of their messengers but I'm okay hearing from women about their issues, I'm not going to listen to some hipster guy or upper middle class tumblr chicks with nose rings and purple hair talk about how hard they got it when they live comfortably enough to go through phases as an adult. Other than that I don't hate feminism or see it as a threat as long as they really just want equal treatment. I guess you can say my feelings toward feminism is also how I feel about gay and trans rights too.
