There's a million places you could start but I'd say to listen to Fantastic, Vol. 2 by Slum Village (produced by J Dilla save for three songs). And Labcabincalifornia by The Pharcyde (not produced entirely by Dilla but some of my favorite Dilla produced tracks). Two good examples of some of his best work. His discography is so vast though.

God bless the dead but he's overrated. He had a small community of people trying to get his beats while he was alive and the moment he passes it becomes cool for people to swear he was an underrated legend.

Common's Like Water for Chocolate is another good place to start. He produced a bunch of tracks on that. Champion Sound (the album he did with Madlib) is another one of my favorites.
