has touchwiz improved?

Is there still lag after periods of long use?

Do you have to restart the phone every so often? Is there experience of slowness like previous iterations?

Did the battery get worse after a fee weeks/months?

What are some advantages over stock android?

And is it worth it just for the screen?

Because of their trade in deal, the phone price is half the cost and I'm thinking either this or the oneplus 5.

What yall think?

Touchwiz has improved tremendously.

There is still some lag.

I restart my phone every Friday and factory reset it once every other month or so.. don't really notice a difference in speed after I do so.

Battery is the same as from day one

Samsung's built in gif maker >

Sure. The screen alone makes the phone look gorgeous

Screw the oneplus 5

*I've had the s8+ since day one.*

yeah

Not that I've noticed.

I usually restart the phone once a week because the phone kinda nags at you to do so if you don't

Still as good as day one here. I get a full day out of a single charge on the regular S8.

Outside of Samsung Pay which works on just about any credit card reader I'm not really sure. I've never owned a stock Android phone. Either HTC Sense or Touchwiz / Grace UI.

And is it worth it just for the screen?
Personally I'd say this is the best phone screen I've ever used. I don't like the fact that they don't make good tempered glass protectors but I've been using it without a screen protector since day one and it has no scratches.

I'm pretty sure in 2 months the Note8 will be out. If I didn't already have an S8 and didn't need a phone today I wouldn't buy one. The fingerprint reader on the back is still trash because of the position. I have to use it all the time for Lastpass and it's my one complaint about the phone. I would rather wait to see what the Note8 offers at this point because it's late June and the speculation is August for that.
