To those who were in their 20s in the 1990s and pre-2003, how was nightlife?

I wonder man...

Cause it seems like over hyped parties and standing around and all this other mess just kills the vibe sometimes.

How were things before people tweeting and taking pics and looking to BE seen?

How much easier was it to court women?

was it cheaper?

Was it harder to make plans and coordinate moves throughout the night?

How did it feel to not have cell phones?

females used to grind on males at parties in the 90s...now they grind on each other...the lazy ass djs sucked back then too but they are even worse now X1000 as every dj today has the exact same playlist...bartenders are more stingy with the alcohol nowadays too....thats about it

Bottle service killed the nightlife scene to be honest.

It became a competition of who could cop the most bottles & chill and stunt as opposed to nikkas really having a good time.

Also everyone is always on their phones now....It's pretty bad with instagram and twitter. Before twitter because you weren't going to be playing snake on your nokia in the middle of a party, you'd actually have to go meet people, now you'll have people sitting around tweeting.

But I'm young to be honest, I'm only 27. Been DJing since 16-17 tho.

It was like from 1:35 to 3:05 in this video.....but with about 100+ people.

My style was/is similar to the cat wearing the overalls.....

Yeah, we used to actually dance THAT hard back then.

You couldn't help it.

Females were actually friendly and more likely to pull you out on the floor.

Drinks were cheap and STRONG. I remember Long Island Iced Teas ran for about $2-3, White Russians were about $4-5, Gin n' Juice was like $1 in a TALL glass.

If you're not a swagless loser

Nightlife Now >***

These girls born in the 90s are about that life and are more impressed with swag/social status than money. :ahh:

So, putting on show and/or facade to impress chicks then one is lost on life in America. Right now, my lady is watching a stupid Lifetime movie and I am on TC but I am at peace. I go to strip clubs now to be entertained "as is", versus what dudes who get dressed up to do that at a club.
