He went for 74 catches, 973 yards and 7 TD's last year, so I would say he was pretty damn good last year on the Pat's. This year, however, has been a series of injuries and drops.

let me clarify:

that talk was more so them taking a shot at cam then him....but now that brady isnt making him some elite wr, the talk has switched to maybe lafell isnt that good, when that's not the case...he's the same player he's always been since lsu(good size, speed, inconsistent hands), the talk has just changed cause of the qb...

...i was just being a smart ass pointing out how the talk about a wr can be different based on the qb....

I get what you mean, I just disagree. He had his best season as a pro under Brady last year. That doesn't mean he's not average, but he never had more than 49 catches 600 yards or 5 TD's with Cam, so he excelled with Brady and within this offense. Still prone to drops though.

that's not a fair comparison though.....cause this cam and carolina offense isnt the same one he played with....when he was with carolina, the offense was more conservative and yes, cam wasnt like he is now....you add lafell to this carolina team, and i think he puts up similar numbers to what he's doing in ne....he'd be the number 1 wr(cause of the injury to bejamin) and #2 option behind olsen....

Odell out here putting the team on his back and Randle can't even help. Myles White is looking better at this point. Makes me sad, though ODB, Cruz and Randle would've been nice. Major dissapointment.

Were ppl really saying this about Brandon fukking Lafell? Why? He's not exceptional big at 6'2, he has decent speed at 4.5 and has never done anything ever to show us he'll "set the league on fire"
