You can tell he talking about white people who don’t interact with Latinos. They just hear them talking Spanish in the grocery store.
90% of the Latinos I worked with spoke English or bilingual (even if the grammar was incorrect) and asked me to speak English to them so they could learn.

There is no need for any black person to intervene in that dispute especially when the outcome of going against what brokaw said is just more bilinguals preferred job openings

Are you advocating ignorance?
It’s in every black person’s interests to be bilingual whether it’s Spanish, Korean, French or whatever.
Being able to converse with people in their native language gives you advantages in forming business relationships or just making connections.

nothing you are saying has anything to do with the real world or how bilingual preferred plays out in the market place, bilingual preferred is just an excuse for keeping out black people from the job market, thats whats happening in miami and in california and in other parts
what native language are you referring to? if you are born in the us, regardless of where your parents are from, your native language is english, and people that come from another countries need to understand that and they also need to learn english, so brokaws comment isnt way off
