no he isn't right. Its apple to oranges.The NFL is immune to pretty much any controversy. Name me one NFL player that has said a slur and was fined 100K??? The NBA which by all accounts is a non-thug league but it is recognized as such because it is majority black. The NFL while also being a majority black league does not suffer from any "thug league" stigma. To fix a non-existing image problem, David Stern had to go the extra mile to punish players.
