I saw it the other night. Was actually surprised it was decent given the underwhelming trailers (except the first teaser) its main problem was that it was a little TOO generic, almost like they were trying to Avatar the audience (warm them up with familiar themes and tropes to set up for a better and more epic sequel) but it didn't have the same visual wonder or splendor that Avatar did...


Ultimately I liked it, and for an "original" movie with no basis on comics or novels it was a breath of fresh air, but the plot was heavy handed and not really anything we'd never seen before.


7/10 I'd love to see what Brad Bird could do with a Sequel

I really liked this movie tbh. I watched it before looking at reviews and I was shocked at how poorly it was doing. Sure they went overboard with the save the trees stuff but I thought the overall message was great . I'd watch it again

took my fam to see it my daughter said she loved it i thought it was different it was a letdown from the trailer tho
