listen to them ramble amongst each other during Toni/Mercedes. JR added some gravitas off of voice alone for the last two matches but its just bad.

Hangman winning the belt was a good moment and it still felt underwhelming because the commentary team is so bad and the producers/engineers can't even work the sound. they are just poor at amplifying big moments.

I've been critical of aew in the past...but this is just hate right here. Those matches you mentioned were great matches.

I've been a wwe fan for 35 years, but As wrestling fans, we should be rooting for AEW, WWE, ROH, HOG, etc to succeed.

Enjoy it as a fan.

Commentary in AEW....I'm glad Nigel got off bc I can't stand to listen to him. But that goes back to wwe even.
I'm not an Excalibur fan either but he's not terrible. Schivonie is there as nostalgia and JR still has a few calls in him.....but neither of them are unlistenable, they just don't add much

At some point we're gonna reach a limit to what humans can athletically do in a ring tho, I think we're close to that too, I don't know if anyone in the next 10-20 years will be able to do a lot more than what someone like Ospreay is doing today.
