when Vince stepped down the first time and HHH took over in the summer of 22, he had some of the talent relations guys reach out to former NXT/WWE talent and see what their contract status was. For instance, he told someone to call up Hit Row and the guy called everybody including Swerve. Some of the people like Andrade, Aleister Black, Buddy Murphy etc wanted back in with WWE. Swerve stooges this all out to Tony Khan talkin about HHH "tampering" and shyt and surprise surprise who gets rewarded with a big push later on
