He won't win it but i'm glad that he is getting the props that he deserves. He's been a beast for years and finally people are seeing that. He has his faults but there are many teams in the league that would take him as their starter right now.

he's had a great season, but theres 2 players on that offense better than him ( Dez and Demarco). 3 if you wanna count the offensive line which was prolly the best in the league this year.

we can't win without romo tho. san fran, philly he was hurt. arizona and washington he was out. that's our 4 losses. he is the most VALUABLE player on the team.

Beat me to it.

Yeah, San Fran - Romo barely played in the preseason after coming off back surgery. Rusty as hell.

He got hurt during the Washington game, and the Boys didn't recover

Missed the Zona game

Philly game he played on 3 days rest following a Sunday Night game.

That's a fair argument, but i think that has as much to do with Weeden being the back up as it does with Romo's ability.

It's a really good offense and with the run first approach, that o-line, and Dez and Demarco's ability, i think most qbs who are above average would have really efficient #s on that team.

Not to take anything away from Romo, he's been great, i just dont think he has a real claim for MVP.

At first I was like...nah...and I'm a Romo stan...

But...

Since thanksgiving Romo has been otherworldly...look at some of these numbers...

@ Bears
21 26 80.77 205 3 0

@eagles
22 31 70.97 265 3 0

Home at Indy...
18 20 90.00 218 4 0

Lord have mercy at that Colts game...it's not possible for a QB to play any better...

The line gets a lot of pub...and they should...and Demarcco get's a lot of pub...and he should...but Romo has been pretty much playing Madden on rookie since thanksgiving...

So MVP...he won't win it because we are playing a hapless washington team in a game that might not mean anything to Dallas depends on what the other teams do...but since Thanksgiving Romo has not only been the best QB in football by a decent margin he has been the best PLAYER in football by a decent one to...shyt since thanksgiving the next closes player to Romo is Dez...

And his numbers are a product of teams selling out against the run and just banking on Romo throwing them interceptions like he use to...

Which lets me know that nfl coaches are every bit as dumb as I think they are...because Romo used to throw all of those picks against crazy exotic zone coverages where their was no hope of Dallas running the ball due to the score or our coaches being idiotic and not running it...

And these fools are really thinking "make Tony throw he will give us one"...These fools are really letting a QB who is going to finish his career top 25 all time in virtually every passing stat repeatedly throw into one on one coverage...to an all time great TE...to a future HOF wide receiver...

Honestly teams would have a better chance playing the pass and just hoping they can keep Murray under control...

Because every team that puts 8 in the box and dares Romo to throw the ball is going to get blown off the field by halftime...

I would say Dez is the most valuable player on that team. I think the Cowboys would be a lot easier to stop if he wasn't on the field.

Tough one even though he's playing better than every qb statistically and he is 11-3. Murray has 2000+ scrimmage yards already either one should get it. Romo leads in ypa, completions, passer rating,TD %, it's really a toss up.

Truth. I been wondering about that. Why would you leave it to romo beating you. It's silly AF. Dudes been shredding defenses like comically. But at the same time if u stop romo you gotta worry about murray putting up 100+ . there really is no way to beat us when we have a full weak to prepare.

Yeah Dez is a nightmare and he is somehow playing better right now than he ever has...and he been a monster since he stepped foot in this league...

It's funny cause watching Dez play football...you just walk away thinking...ain't no way in hell a cornerback has a chance :merchant:

I've never seen a receiver physically overwhelm a corner like Dez did Fletcher...Fletcher looked like a damn child out there trying to cover some dude who was grown in a lab and designed to do nothing but catch touchdown passes...

Yesterday Dez had a touchdown catch waved off because of an illegal shift by the cowboys...but this dude just completely obliterated Vontae Davis...who is one of the most physical corners in the league...just swatted him away and caught the ball...man somehow Vontae was in press coverage but by the time Dez caught the ball he wasn't even in my screen...all I could see was his shoe and a piece of his shoulder pads...

How on earth are you supposed to cover a guy like Dez when you can't touch a receiver past 5 yards...

In that Saints game Julio Jones looked like some apex of man science experiment running around the field while the saints cornerbacks coward in fear on some :hamster:shyt...

Just no way on earth you can guard dudes like that if you can't touch them
