On the latest episode of What Happened When with Tony Schiavone, the AEW broadcaster discussed Teddy Hart, and his experience being around him in MLW:
“And he came backstage the first year of AEW, and wanted to meet Tony Khan. And Tony told him, ‘I can’t, because you got a cat with you.’ And Teddy had the cat with him and had cat hair all over him. Tony [looks at] ‘Teddy. I’m sorry.’ And he ran from Teddy because of the cat here. So, where they went from there, I don’t know. But Teddy always had that white cat with him in MLW.”
On Teddy Hart:
“So Teddy Hart, I worked with him in MLW. And he was pretty cool to work with. And I never will forget the response he got from the fans when he would come out. And of course now, we worked in, so the crowd wasn’t gigantic. But all those kids there knew who Teddy Hart was.
