short is too... cool man
dudes been there since basically the beginning. his first five years were totally DIY, 83-88. recording his own shyt onto tape and pressed onto vinyl, selling that shyt out of his car trunk. he's had success, but nothing earth shattering, yet hes respected by everyone who knows anything about rap. worked with pac and big!!
whether youre a fan or not (and i assume pretty much everyone reading is) the man has had a great career. gone platinum a few times but no artistic sellout moments that i can recall
