Thinking bout selling my PS4, been working on building my new PC lately and there won't be anything worth keeping my PS4 for except Madden, which I haven't bought in a couple years anyways.

I still have my PS3 for College Hoops/Football, so unless those make a miraculous comeback I'll probably be good, and even then I'd just cop a newer model. All the other games I play are on PC and I'll be playing them there anyways.

But is it too late to sell for a decent price? Or is holiday time a good time to sell, comes with a couple games, 2 controllers with some accessories on them and a vertical stand with a cooler. I can even include a Gold headset if that helps that value much.

What ya'll think? Would appreciate some feedback/opinions :ehh:

Edit: Guess I should include the games I have too

Madden 15
NBA 2k16
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Need for Speed: Rivals
FIFA 15
MLB the Show 14
NBA 2k15
Minecraft

Minecraft I might just keep tho cause I'm tired of buying the shyt over and over again

Got a couple bluerays too that I'm not sure what I'll do with

But ya'll can see I haven't really bought new games in forever, and this shyt is past due

Just don't want to get fukked over on the price

None of those games are worth much on their own. I would list it as a 10 day auction on eBay starting Thursday night to get the most for it. Start it at a penny.

do NOT offer free shipping no matter what eBay tells you if you plan to go that route.

Unfortunately you just have too many sports games to get much. If selling on Craigslist/Facebook/Let Go try to dump it for $250....if someone offers you $225 just take it.

Why not free shipping? Is it because bigger items cost more? I been selling some other shyt today actually on eBay and a few items I do offer free shipping, but that is just like joints that cost $2 to ship out.

Any advice for selling shyt like this on eBay tho, I've been sticking to smaller items don't wan't to get scammed out of $200

PS4 with 2 controllers and Sony Golds...
$250 is reasonable. $275 isn't impossible necessarily but it's a stretch. The games have little to no value since they're sequels are already coming out soon. You gotta remember games have very little resale value and the console can be found brand new for not much more.

I figured I'd include the headset if it's worth it, I still have my PS3 to use it for and I use it on PC sometimes

But I was planning on just getting a better headset or get a mic and use my m50x's for a headset

If the fukking PS3 controller had a headphone jack I'd be set, although I don't think it'll be too much of an issue

Appreciate the response tho breh, I'd be happy with $250

Sell it on a local/regional Facebook group. No need for shipping at all. List it a bit above what you'd accept for it so you have that room to negotiate.

Sell your PS4 and if you have decent credit buy a Best Buy credit card and get a PS4 Pro and just make payments

Thanks for the help brehs, just finished selling it. Does eBay take their cut automatically or does it take a few days?

I got $270 from the PS4, I feel like the $9 fee that I got already was from Paypal taking a cut for the payment, and eBay will take some more later?

And if ya'll know about pending funds how does that work, once dude gets the items I get the money? Cause it's not letting me pay shipping with my card, says I don't have enough in my Paypal balance yet cause shyt is pending still.

Edit: I just figured out how to pay my fees and got that taken care of, still got around $250 out of the PS4 so I'm happy with that

:ohhh:

Yooo that's cray I always thought the Dual shock 4 was better but I don't own a PS4 may consider getting a controller do you have to mod the PS3 console or anything??
No mods necessary. It's a supported feature. It doesnt really get talked about much. It must be because Sony still plans on milking the dual shock 3 controllers for $60 for as long as they can.
Honestly dual shock 3 controllers should be no more than $30 at this point since they are effectively obsolete now.

"To connect your DualShock 4 to your PS3 you can either plug it in with the USB cable and start playing or you can connect to it wirelessly by going to Settings->Accessory settings->Manage Bluetooth Devices->Register new Device and the hold down the share and PS button on the DualShock 4 until the light bar is flashing, it should show up on the pair menu soon after, press X on the PS3 controller and complete the rest of the set-up.

After that, you should be able to use the Dualshock 4 with most PS3 games, you can even pair multiple PS4 controllers as well."
Is it possible to use a PS4 controller for a PS3? - Quora
