I swear, this cavity is seriously making me want to commit that :mjcry:

Shyt's literally ruined the last couple weeks of my life...I think I'd take a broken arm over this. :smh:

Bad part is, I have dental insurance...but the place I go to is run by fukk nyggas and I had to wait a month to get my filling because "that's the soonest we have available". May be 2017 before I get my wisdom teeth out. :smh:

Anybody know the horror of tooth pain? Any home remedies? This aspirin ain't really cutting it. Just trying to make it another two days and hopefully shyt will get done with...

find a different dentist that can take you sooner :martin:

Easier said than done.

My insurance (which I get thru my job) is thru that fukk ass clinic so if I went elsewhere I'd have to pay 100% out of pocket. Not to mention fill out a bunch of paperwork and redo X-rays and all that.

But then again, at this point I'm damn tempted to show up at the first dentist I can find with a couple stacks like "fix this asap i'll pay whatever you want :sadbron: "

Pain your experiencing is from infection not from the cavity itself. I've had a cavity all the way to the root for over a year now. Too lazy to call the dentist. But it doesn't hurt at all unless it's infected.

Chew a piece of garlic. It's gonna burn but just hold it on the tooth that's hurting until the burning stops. If your infection is bad the gun might swell up. Keep using garlic like twice a day until the swelling and pain goes away. You should also swallow the garlic after you hold it in your mouth so you can kill the infection from the inside.

Get some arm and hammer toothpaste and Listerine. Keep your mouth spotless. No more tooth pain. Going to the dentist will start sounding like More trouble than it's worth.

Called the health department last week and got a tooth that been bothering me for years removed, for free...:blessed:

Best advice is stop playing games, travel if you have to, there's levels to the pain, it can get deadly cant eat sleep, talk, migraines, ringing in the ears, drooling crying...I thought I was one of them nikkas that could thug it out, been using temporary filling for a cracked tooth and missing filling, I was good okay back eating then, my mouth all of a sudden hit me with the , the only way I could described it felt like the nerve of my tooth did the Harlem shake, and I was immobilized, thankful for me it was that snow day just starting off, nobody but me there walked straight to back, I wasn't even gonna call nobody but my spirit said call the health department, God is good...But get that shyt taken care of, now, just think of things this way the pain could get 10 times worse at anytime

Yeah, low key I should've made an appointment ages ago. From this point forward my dental regime is about to be on point.

Thing is, my insurance is cheap and basically everything is covered (fillings are covered, wisdom tooth extraction is covered, a root canal is covered if you're referred for one, etc.) but you have to wait FOREVER to get anything done. Just to go get a filling is at least a 3-4 week wait (unless somebody cancels, which isn't that common) and I've heard that it's several months for root canals or extractions. So it's cool for non-urgent issues but if you wait until something starts hurting

They have emergency walk-in hours, but they won't actually do a filling, most they'll do is prescribe a painkiller and get you on the list for a filling/root canal.

Been dealing with teeth issues since last fall. Getting a root canal this week. I'll also need a crown.. $850 total. I have seriously never felt pain comparable to a tooth ache. I was in a fetal position one night about to drive to the ER. Got antibiotics and hydrocodone.

And Hennessy don't help.. And Hennessy dont help.

Yep, and what sucks is that the ER can't really do anything about dental issues other than prescribe you a painkiller and possibly antibiotics if you have an infection. As far as the issue itself, you really can't do anything about it until you get a dentist to fill/root canal the tooth. If it's the weekend/evening and you have a serious issue, or if you're dental place has a long waiting list, you're screwed.

Somebody needs to start opening up emergency dental clinics that specialize in doing fillings and root canals on the weekends/evenings and/or cheaply for people without insurance. They would seriously make a killing...there are lots of poor/uninsured people with dental issues they'd love to get fixed but can't.

Agreed. The fact that you can't get dental work done on the weekend is confounding.

Seems like my toothache dissipates when I make a dental appointment , and exacerbates when the weekend approaches.

Glad I got mine removed when they were still little

You could always pull them out yourself, or have a trusted friend with steady hands help you pull them out:ld:
