Deion was better than Lott, Woodson, and Reed.

QBs were concerned with throwing the ball to their coverage.

They straight avoided Deion's half of the field.

CB is more valuable than S, imo.

This is exactly why I don't want my team to draft Jalen Ramsey. Very questionable CB skills and they want to move him to safety anyway. Seems like a waste at top 5.

Qbs avoided Deions side because he mostly covered the No 2 WR. It amazes me that people don't realize this. What about Junior Away?, Jack Lambert, Willie Lancer? Butkus is so overrated. He never even led his team to the playoffs..

With a list like this someone great will always get left out. Ray obviously belongs and Bruce Smith deserves a spot too. Put those cats in and we still are discussing someone's exclusion.

Personally, I always thought Aeneas Williams was just as good as Deion Sanders & Rod Woodson. They had more versatility as kick/punt returners, but when it came to locking dudes down, he's the most underrated player from that era.

For comparison, Deion played 16 yrs.Had 53 ints and and 9 TD's(defensive/Non Special Teams)

Aeneas played 13 years, had 55 int's and 9 TD's(Defensive/Non Special Teams)

And teams avoided throwing to his side of the field, same as Deion.

Ask Michael Irving who's the best CB he ever faced.Nobody gave him problems like Aeneas.

Too bad he spent his prime years stuck on the Cardinals when they really were the armpit of the NFL.Had he played for the Cowboys/Steelers, people would argue that he was the GOAT CB
