How are we defining "strongest culture"? Most influential? Longest history? Where black folks thrive the most? etc.

Frankly pretty much every AA community in every non-southern city in the Midwest & West is a derivative of Louisiana/Arkansas/Mississippi/Texas culture.

If we doing it in terms of the amount of attention a city gets for its AA culture contemporarily though then Atlanta/Detroit/Chicago are pretty much gonna be on any list.

After those three there's legit arguments for New Orleans/DC/Philly/Memphis, based on numbers alone there's also arguments for Jackson/Montgomery/Baltimore.

Oakland used to have a much stronger black culture 20+ years ago but doesn't make the cut in 2021 imo.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Blacks are from the south right? Wouldn’t the list be mostly southern places?

One thing I will say is that many black folks up north and out west have parts of their culture that isn’t directly theirs.

The southern black culture is pure except the Louisiana culture which has some mixes. Only thing negative about the south now is that many of the blacks down there like to marry PAWGS.

Not here in Memphis. Those are STRICTLY catch and release. There are plenty enough of worthless CAC dudes to absorb the white female BBW population. We good over here.
