Food For Funk
Hungry
Invocation
Reminding Me of Sef
Stolen Moments (all the parts, lol.)

Probably my second favorite Common album after Resurrection. This is when he was still rapping rapping!

Straight classic to me.

shyt, this is easy:

Hungry(my favorite)
GOD
Stolen Moments
Stolen Moments 2
Making a name for ourselves

On Making a name for ourselves, Common was my mans at the time and I had been a fan for years. My pride would NOT let me admit that Canibus got him on that track for the longest

He went off on Invocation and Hungry :whew:

Reminding Me of Sef is 90’s to the core. I hear that joint and instantly it takes me back to TGIF shows, being with family (those who have passed) and hanging out with friends

Canibus did his thing and I’m not the biggest Canibus fan at all lol

I always liked Common’s line “relaxed like Dru Down’s hair”

yeah that was dope. He used half of that verse previously on the Stretch and Bobbito show with Black Thought, Monch, and Absolute that was later put on the 1st Lyricist Lounge compilation
