The original Mr McMahon run is probably the best heel of all time. He helped propell an already hot Austin by leveraging the heat from Montreal. He didn't even have to work matches(which he did a bit)which goes to show great heels don't have to be great in ring workers. My only issue is that they don't know when to let go of a once good thing. The many imitations of that archetype over the years has been tiring to say the least.

It was highly manufactured. He had all of his heat created for him, all he had to do was show up for work.
