Austin 3:16 ended up being a big catchphrase, but it was almost 2 years before Austin got hot on a mainstream level. His moments against Vince and Rock when he was an actual entertainment superstar are much more memorable and iconic.

Nothing was the same after this.

The fact hogan came out in red and yellow instead of all black to let the fans know he was done with their shyt after how they treated him made this so much more impactful.

Rodman being there. Sting finally revealing his hand. The last 5 mins of uncensored 97 was as rabid of a reaction as you’ll find.

Nuff said. The crowd just had to have it that night.
