Here is the current playoff field, if the playoffs started today:

AFC
1 Indianapolis Colts 4-1
2 Buffalo Bills 4-1
3 Pittsburgh Steelers 3-1
4 Los Angeles Chargers 3-2
5 Jacksonville Jaguars 4-1
6 Denver Broncos 3-2
7 New England Patriots 3-2

NFC
1 Philadelphia Eagles 4-1
2 San Francisco 49ers 4-1
3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-1
4 Detroit Lions 4-1
5 Green Bay Packers 2-1-1
6 Seattle Seahawks 3-2
7 Minnesota Vikings 3-2

So with that said, here is how everybody in the playoff field, has performed vs other current playoff teams:

AFC
Colts 1-0
Chargers 1-0
Jaguars 1-0
Steelers 2-1
Patriots 1-1
Broncos 1-2
Bills 0-1

NFC
Packers 1-0
Eagles 1-1
49ers 1-1
Buccaneers 1-1
Seahawks 1-2
Lions 0-1
Vikings 0-1

Such a small sample size from everyone so far. What I will say, only 3 teams in The Field have played three playoff teams, and of those 3 (Steelers, Broncos, Hawks)....only the Steelers have won two such games.

I don't think its far fetched at all that the Steelers are one of the 5 best teams in football, though they wouldn't be the popular choice at the moment.

The Colts, Chargers, Jags, Bills, Pack, Lions, and Vikings, literally half of the playoff field, have had soft schedules up until this point, so who knows how good any of those teams are. First 2-3 weeks the Bolts and Pack were trendy Super Bowl picks, a few weeks later neither of them look like SB teams at the moment.

The eye test tells me the Lions are the best team in the NFL. Eye test also tells me the Eagles, Colts, and Bills are Top 5, despite flaws. So I guess that would be my Top 5 at the moment, no order except Lions at 1 and Steelers at 5:

1 Detroit
2 Indianapolis
3 Philadelphia
4 Buffalo
5 Pittsburgh

That's as of now. @murksiderock's official Super Bowl picks are coming after Week 6 wraps up. But going into Week 6 these to me have been the 5 best teams in the NFL.
