Offseason is pretty much over so I decided to name the offseason winners and losers. Tried to narrow it down to 5 each.

Winners.
1. Houston- Harden locked in.Traded for Paul. Regardless of the Anthony situation, this off season is a win

2. Timberwolves- Got rid of Rubio. Got Teague, Butler and Gibson. Drafted Patton. Great offseason

3 Warriors- how do you win the ship and still have one of the best drafts?? To get Jordan Bell, then Iggy and Livingston resigns. Durant takes a discount. Nick young too?

4. Thunder- got Paul George and didn't give up anyone.

5. This last one was tough between Boston, Philly and the Lake show. Celtics lost Bradley which is huge and Sixers need to be healthy. Going with the Lakers. Lonzo is showing out and they got rid of Mozgov's contract. Signed KCP to a 1 year deal. There's a plan in place with the new regime. What's not to like?

Losers

1. Knicks- Carmelo situation unresolved. Didn't draft Dennis Smith. 71 Million for Tim hardaway jr? Just no direction.

2. Pacers- lost Paul George for absolutely nothing.

3. Bulls- Dwyane Wade opted in, lost Butler for nothing. Nuff said

4. Spurs- yes they're the Spurs. but I can't let em off the hook. They didn't address the point guard situation. Lost out on Paul and Lowry. Lamarcus is a question mark. You lost Jonathan Simmons. They might be able to save face with Derrick White. But for now, i have to call this a losing offseason

5. Tie between Cavs and Jazz. Listen you lose a Gordan Hayward, you can't replace that. With the Cavs, they have done nothing to improve. On top of that, Richard Jefferson comes back, and you sign Carlos Arroyo??

I think your saying the bulls " lost butler for nothing" is very stupid.

Three very promising young guys for a guy who wasn't going to lead you anywhere is a great grab.

Also how do you list Jordan Bell as some great get but shyt on Lavine, Dunn and Markkanen? All three of those guys are worlds better than bell

Lavine is the only proven talent and he's coming off a major injury. I'm sure the Bulls had better offers
Dunn is really the only question mark, and even he is still a good young piece to take a shot on. Markkanen is going to be a useful to possibly high level guy.

Three young pieces in a rebuild is great.

Op is trash.Rockets about to pay a 33 year old a 5 year max to do the same thing harden does and still haven't addressed their main issue which was overall defense, interior defense and rebounding.Cp3 defense is declining he cannot defend pg's like beverley can.

Bulls didnt trade butler for nothing that's the best offer they got.Nobody was offering anything for jimmy. They got 3 pieces that will be 25 & under and still have value 3 years from now when butler is 30-31getting another max.

Denver, Golden State, Philly, OKC and Sacramento have had the best offseasons.

Worst:

Chicago, LA Clippers, Memphis, Cleveland and tie between Portland and Toronto

The Truth
Forgot to mention that Celtics got Hayward in replace of Bradley and Tatum is going to be a legit big scorer and defender

Also that Lakers got Lopez for Mozgov..

But I mostly agree with all of this.

But we don't know how it's gonna work out but no matter what we think It's an upgrade on paper. it's a risky trade but well worth it

Why Portland and Toronto? Toronto got rid of Caroll's contract. I'd say that's a win plus you got Lowry for only 3 years.

Because they're locked into that team as it stands. Eventually those Raptors 905 guys need to show & prove.

Portland basically realizes how stupid their signings were because of the players they missed out on this summer. Their draft was solid though
How do you figure.. Just because we lost Chris Paul:what:
because you spent $238 mil on 2 talented but broken players. That and I don't yet see whether there will be more of a commitment to developing younger guys. The Teodosic move I liked though

Getting Zach Lavine is NOT a lost for the Bulls. He's only 22 and has been improving each year. In fact, he's likely winning Most Improved for the 2017-2018 season.
