If no one takes him seriously, why is it a problem being around him?
And just the mention of his name causes stirred emotions, friend. He’s a problem to white supremacy (American Renaissance), Black bourgeois (Okayplayer Board), c00ns throughout the diaspora (thecoli) and bed wenches/Shea Bitters/Black Feminists (LSA).

And black family... You'll always stand tall when you defend these things..
If you defend these especially the traditional Black Family, That's what the white supremacists DON'T WANT. That's why they send there c00ns to go after any true representation of Black Masculinity.

Exactly. To many of them, Tariq must be an “operative/agent” because he doesn’t have white backing or shill for a political party. That makes me wanna :mjlol: sometimes, friend.

This is true because white people will point out the out of wedlock children born in the black community, but will get mad at a black person promoting the black family because it contradicts their message of diversity..

All these anti black male online movements are directly inspired by academia and hack works from black feminists based on little to no data or data that is purposely misinterpreted. Dr. Curry and other black male study academics are actually much too kind to their idiotic opponents.
Like who?
But you must notice that many of the people who use black female studies to justify their anti-black male thinking are not only the loudest but the people that others are most informed by. Not in the academic space but the court of public opinion which holds more weight now a days.

I've certainly seen many people *claim* to, but rarely do they ever actually cite the work - or even pretend to have based it on anything.

I treat it the same way I treated any other unverifiable claim - criticize or ignore.

And the "court of public opinion" has always held weight than anything else.

bell hooks, everyone in that rip thread were awfully silent and couldn't refute any of the critiques in the Jamel thread.

Would also like to know who these "caustic proponents" are...:mjpls:

She also has spent a good chunk of her work defending Black men (which tends to be ignored due to her statements about the CP5**), but since most of her critics haven't even touched her work, it's a bit pointless to debate.

And those caustic proponents are the same community on social media on the like that utilize things like ADOS to attack people and shield their prejudices. If you're on Black pseudo-academic Twitter you come across those types quite a bit.

**her comments, if applied to general Black youth gangs would have been decidedly accurate, but their attachment to the innocent Central Park 5 is really a cliff for any worthwhile examination of the contradictory nature of those groups

Read bell hooks for a “material analysis of black patriarchy”. You are making a strawman, and no there isn't any justification for her anti-Black views of the CP5 :mjpls:

I'd like to see you refute the damning points made in the thread because everyone went silent in the bell hooks thread...
