Did they say this during the ACTUAL TRIAL when Tory’s literal career and freedom were on the line …when Kelsey was literally in the courtroom on the stand? When sworn statements were presented into official evidence for the jury’s consideration of Kelsey texting Megan’s bodyguard IMMEDIATELY after the incident “HELP! Tory just shot Megan”…when official statements were presented in court of Kelsey saying Tory offered both her and Megan 1 million dollars in hush money to not tell people that Tory shot Megan (which Megan corroborated in a separate statement presented in court)? Did they say this when Tory’s jail call to Kelsey hours after the shooting was played for the jury of him apologizing to both Megan and Kelsey for what he did the prior night but that he was “just so drunk”? Did they say that when Tory’s own defense star witness got on the stand in COURT and literally said Tory fired the shots that hit Megan? Did Tory himself say this when he had the opportunity to do so in front of the jury that ultimately decided his freedom?
Or are you talking about his team saying this during a press conference a couple days ago….but years after the ACTUAL TRIAL…to drum up publicity and have people “just asking questions” about a legal matter that was already decided in court…where they presented heresay and other nonsense that they didn’t present in the ACTUAL TRIAL because it wouldn’t hold up?
The actual legal proceedings weren’t all that confusing or complicated at all…we have a person who was shot telling you who shot them, with multiple eye witnesses independently corroborating that one essential point…all the other shyt is, legally, irrelevant…
Tory’s main defense seemed to be paying off people (witnesses, social media influencers, and now most pathetically MAGA-World politicians and talking heads) to alter testimony (this explains Kelsey all of a sudden “not recalling” anything and the witness that “disappeared” because he got cold feet about taking the money going to court and perjuring himself), spread bullshyt narratives all over the internet that are beating the hell outta folks common fukking sense to this day (explains the financial records presented in court of Tory’s team paying the gossip blogger Milagro Gramz), and right wingers like the attention whore congresswoman from FL and various conservative media figures out the blue becoming Tory proxies…which I guess works in a Trumpian post-truth “throw so much bullshyt and misinformation out there that people are overwhelmed and can’t discern reality from nonsense” kind of way…but not in court where the main point of the trial was damn near not even contested
