They also played this man’s 911 call where he never mentions anything about anyone shooting and questioned him about that. The man has been an unreliable narrator since DAY 1, and Tory’s team STILL decided to put him on the stand. Whose fault is that? A mistrial for WHAT? An unreliable witness is not grounds for mistrial.
If y’all were paying attention throughout the trial, Kelly being an u reliable witness has been noted since day 1.

Sean Kelly is literally the ONLY person who went to court and claimed he say Kesley shoot or with a gun. So how were “WE” clinging to him. Without his Testimony, Tory goes to jail even sooner.

Yes we get it and understand. NOBODY black wants to see yet another black man behind bars. Black men have been the literal sacrificial lambs of the United States justice system since the inception of this country. We’ve been lied on, framed, railroaded, and made out to be monsters who would be better off locked away from polite society. We’ve been wrongfully villainized so many times that call us “jaded” towards the system would be a gross mis-understatement.
But in the case of Daystar Peterson, its best to look at everything that transpired both that night and immediately proceeding and say that in THIS instance, the man is more likely guilty than innocent. Its been proven that Tory is at best irrationally and at worse psychopathically violent. He made PUBLIC statements against his own best interests, saying Kelsey didn’t shoot Megan when he and her were the ONLY two probably culprits. Witnesses put the gun in HIS hands and said he fired. The after-incident phone call from jail where he’s apologizing profusely sounds like that of a guilty man trying desperately to exhibit some sort of control over a situation HE caused. He refused to testify in his OWN defense, leaving only Megan and Kelsey’s word as the people present that night. He refused to wait for the bodyguard to be interviewed and crossed by the Prosecution. Any and EVERYTHING that could have directly refuted the account that he SHOT her, he refused to allow. Why would a truly innocent man take these actions? It doesn’t make any sense UNLESS he was desperately relying on reasonable doubt to see him through, and one only does that if their GUILTY of what their being charged of.
Tory, unfortunately, seems to be one of those black men who deserves to be right where he is. Shooting black women because you’re drunk and filled with little man syndromed rage SHOULD be punished. Tory Lanez wasn’t marching on Washington, protesting police brutality, or defending his community from Klansmen. He’s not a martyr. He’s not Nelson Mandela. He is who we should be teaching our black boys NOT to emulate.
