Idk what it is but anytime there’s an MMA, boxing or weightlifting video that’s posted on the Internet then everybody all of a sudden becomes an analyst.
:russ: I know right, nikkas turn from 6 certs, to 6 time Taekwando champion.

"See he should have hit him with a rear naked choke hold, squatted and held his breath for 10 seconds to get blow flow moving again" :russ:

The guy in the OP was perfectly fine. You just have some sloppy inexperienced guy pushing all over him and swinging all over the place while off-balance, the big guy never landed flush once, the trainer just let the guy work himself over.

Plus he's not trying to hurt this guy.

The smart thing to do was just leg kick and wear him down. It worked which is why he was wanting another round to finish the fight.

Now if the coach was at an equal weight to the challenger this would have looked a lot different.

True, not saying boxing is superior to kickboxing. Or any other fighting style.
But there is lots of video evidence of people using it to success in real fights and against multiple opponents or a larger opponent.

To me means maybe it's just easier to master. a lot less frauds walking around calling themselves masters only to get exposed in a real fight.

The things with boxers is the pure punching power (with speed) that can be generated from proper technique and constant strength training (throwing punches with medicine balls, hand weights, etc).

Add in the constant head/body movement training making it's damn near impossible for a non-fighter to land clean punches that does damage.

Add in the counter-punch training...all those lunge and missed haymakers ol boy was throwing isn't doing nothing but leaving him open for a stone-cold slip-jab or a slip/duck, right cross, uppercut, hook combo that KO's him.

We don't even need to discuss the conditioning aspect.

Big dude would've seriously hurt Lil dude in a street fight. The little guy didn't really have anything to stop big dude.

Even with the bigger guy not having any skill, that weight difference let the bigger guy take anything shorty threw.
