'Town of Salem' released on Steam

Anyway, Its based on the idea of the Salem Witch hunts where everyone was accussing each other of shyt out of paranoa.


Basically you are 1 of 15 people in a village online.
About 10 of the 15 people are normal villagers. Doctor, Mayor, Sherrif, etc.
3 or 4 of the 15 people are secretly in the mafia and kill and blackmail or frame the town pepole each night.
And the last person is just crazy... a serial killer or arsonist, etc not aligned with the town or the mafia.
(You can end up being a witch or a werewolf also)

So after shenanigans and fires and murders each night the remaining people all gather the next day in the courtyard and point blame in all directions when the sun comes up. If enough people agree and are suspicious of a person the town breaks out the pitchforks and kills the accused person.

The townsfolk win if there is no more mafia or crazy people.
The mafia wins if they have majority influence of the town.
The crazy people win if they destroy their target(s) or the town crumbles.

Oh.

I don't know. I was playing it on thr browser via the developer site. (There is no install) cause I didn't want to spend 5 bucks til I played it.
The ingame currency lets you but stuff... like right now if I get voted to be killed I'm hanged, but I've seen people be burned at the stake, electrocuted, drowned... cause they bought more deaths. You get 10 coins everytime your side wins and only 5 coins if they lose, even if you have been killed. But if you are one of the 3-5 people left at the end you get 50 coins I believe. I wasn't really paying attentoin at first but I know I have like 225 coins and I've played like 8 games so far. A game lasts between 5 and like 15 minutes usually.
