gkmc is a classic and I was heavily antipating tpab. Then the shyt dropped and it was a weed plate full of fat deep themes and trash concept songs. but the media pumped it up calling it an instant classic and said he one a goat contender

"Good music" is subjective, and judging from the consensus, most people who aren't hip hop message board weirdos consider TPAB very good to great music.

TPAB is one of the greatest rap albums in history. Up there with Illmatic, OB4CL, The Infamous, MBDTF etc. It's all also one of the greatest taking into account all musical genres. It's one of the few rap albums that transcended the genre. The greatest album of the 2010 decade. Simply incredible music. GKMC is woefully average when compared to TPAB.

People who hate TPAB lack knowledge in every genre of music. If you had that knowledge then TPAB should have been an instant classic to you. The way TPAB paid homage and incorporated every important element of black music was just exquisite. TPAB already gives the GOAT rap albums a run for their money. Yes, it's that good. It's the album that catapulted Kendrick Lamar to a top 5 MC ever, Top 2 possibly.

Yeah because its not like reviewers can be paid off by influential record label execs like interscope. Who knows if the album is good or not because before it was released wece had this narrative shoved down our throats about how great this album is etc. Its either a really great album or the product of an extremely great hype train paid for by a major label with many jewish employees and connections. Discuss
