Was a wanted fugitive at the time of his death. Was in prison most recently for robbing someone at gunpoint for 20 dollars. And had a boyfriend at the time, a skinny black dude who was homeless with him. They be on Lake St asking for money.

Victim has prior robbery, theft and prostitution arrests. Also was sent to civil commitment facilities multiple times for being "mentally ill, developmentally disabled and chemically dependent".

This was not a hate crime. And we won't know the whole story. But it could've been self defense for all we know.

Sad all around. The homeless situation in Minneapolis is out of hand. RIP
